HaiPick System 3
HaiPick System 3 Provides extreme storage density, order responsiveness, and tote delivery speed to a picking station – all in one system. Chain-linked totes provide maximum density with 0.0mm between each tote and 3 totes deep on every shelf, up to 12 meters (39 feet) vertically, for ultra deep, ultra dense storage.
Companion AMR Bots collect priority orders and deliver them to workstations at a flashing speed of 4 meters/ second. System 3’s extreme order responsiveness allows facilities to extend same-day order delivery cutoff times, as well as increase overall order fulfillment speed.
How It Works
Each HaiPick System is developed from a catalogue of modular HaiPick robots, features, software, racking and containers. For each solution, a base system is identified. Then, the modular elements are selected to modify each system to maximize operational success.
HaiPick System 3 has a selection of totes that link together, specially designed to keep 0.0mm between each tote in a row, minimizing space on the shelf.
Racking can be built up to 3 totes deep and placed back-to-back, eliminating aisles needed for robotic travel. On the bottom rack, a different form of self is used to allow Companion Bots to lift-pick totes. This area is used as a handoff point for the ACRs and Companion bots, and an area where fast moving SKUs are commonly stored for quick order fulfilment.
The Robots
HaiPick System 3 operates with two main kinds of robotics equipment, the HaiPick ACR and Companion Bot.
Our Autonomous Case-handling Mobile Robots (ACRs) are capable enough to operate in ASRS designed with almost any industry standard racking. In System 3, the arms of the robats are adjusted to uniquely grab the chain-linked totes and maneuver them, pulling and pushing the tote-chains, keeping the front tote close to the front of the shelf for quick access.
The Companion Bots collect totes from a special bottom self of the racks and deliver them to workstations at an extreme speed of 4 meters per second for fast order responsiveness.
The combined robotic technology allows for vertical storage up to 12 meters (39 feet) and promptly order responsiveness.
The Workstations
HaiPick Systems are accessed via workstations where inbound and outbound inventory is picked up and delivered by HaiPick Robots. Ergonomically designed, all workstations deliver a 99.9%+ order pick accuracy rate and can be tailored to maximize workflow efficiency and throughput, or facilitate seamless handoff to other technologies and operations.
Eliminate Human Travel for Order Picking
HaiPick Systems bring containers directly to operators, cutting out travel time for order picking and speeding up fulfillment.
Variable Workstations
Each HaiPick System can connect to different types of workstations operating simultaneously, supporting various workflows within a single system. System 3's Desktop HaiStations enable ultra-fast picking from totes delivered by Companion Bots.
Lineside Delivery
HaiPick Systems deliver containers for manufacturing, kitting, and other processes through lineside delivery, conveyor systems, or other technology handoff points.
Safety
CE and NRTL certified.
HaiQ Software
HaiPick Systems can integrate seamlessly with almost any existing Warehouse Management System (WMS) or Warehouse Execution System (WES). HaiQ Software provides clear digital insights into inventory counts and details, optimizing robotic pathways to minimize travel and maximize order pick speed and efficiency.
Racking & Containers
HaiPick System 3 can be configured with racking up to 3 totes deep, positioned back-to-back (6 totes deep) to minimize aisle space and maximize storage density. The design enables high-speed Companion Bots to lift and pick totes from the bottom level for immediate fulfillment, making it ideal for storing fast-moving SKUs for quick access.
Ultra-Dense Storage
Chain-linked totes eliminate wasted space on shelves. HaiPick ACRs pull or push the tote chain for efficient retrieval or replenishment.
Efficient Tote Retrieval
When an order requires a tote from the middle or back of a tote chain, the ACR first removes the front totes and stores them on its “backpack” before accessing the desired tote. The ACR can then pass the tote to a Companion Bot for order fulfillment before replacing the unneeded totes.
